About Dr. Faez Faruqi (founder of Gynesys)

Born in London, Dr. Faez Faruqi was raised in Montreal and completed his medical studies and specialization in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Montreal.

He practised in the United States for over 11 years and founded in 1993 Femina OB-GYN, a clinic renowned for its avant-garde medical services. In 2004, he came back to his roots in Montreal and launched the Gynesys Centre with great success.

Both Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and Fellow of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Faez Faruqi is known to be constantly on the lookout for new knowledge and surgical techniques in his field. Director of the department of Gynecology of St. Mary's Hospital (affiliated to McGill University), he also practices and teaches Gynecology and Obstetrics at Sacré-Coeur Hospital (affiliated to the University of Montreal). Dr. Faruqi is also working at the Procrea clinics known to be one of Canada's largest infertility clinics.
